passion for reaching today's youth? If so, we want to
talk with you.
We believe it is
time for like-minded persons to come together. Bring your
passion for youth, expertise and resources to engage them
and the perseverance to press forward as a TEAM, determined
to provide youth with recreation that is
strategic and creative,
designed to build resilience.
In these last days we
must condition our minds to think forward - "attractive, fun, engaging, uplifting, faith-based recreation" OR our youth may die,
spiritually or naturally. This crisis does not discriminate.
When speaking
with several youth Pastor's, I concluded that the average
amount of time that youth spend with their Church activities
is four to eight hours a week. What happens with the other
hours of the day when a child is not in Church, School, or
with their families? Too many youth are left with idol time.
As we, "the
Church" are reaching into the communities of the
Washington DC, Metropolitan Area either jointly or individually bringing
the Light of TRUTH; shining as a pathway out of darkness,
JTSCCON is planning towards providing a
creative place
to invite the many youth that we reach. A place equipped and
designed to keep youth off the streets.
We have
a host of programs and activities designed for the Center. More importantly, knowing that we are able to provide a safe
place that youth can call there own is what drives us.
We are
currently seeking Philanthropist who recognize the crisis
and have the financial resources to assist us in reaching
our goals. We are a 501(c)3 organization with a written
